NASA Filterless Air Purifier
NASA Filterless Air Purifier Brings Space Station Quality Air into your Home
You may not be able to enjoy the wonders of space travel but now you can breathe the same fresh air in your home that astronauts breathe while in space with this filterless air purification system developed by NASA. The NASA Filterless Air Purifier uses the same technology developed by NASA that scrubs, purifies and sanitizes air aboard the space shuttle and the international space station. Unlike standard air filters that catch and trap molecular particles, this unique purifier employs technology that destroys molecular particles.
No need to worry about fan noise, the virtually silent fan draws air into the sleek box, where the unit’s reaction chamber bombards the pathogens with UV light and chemical processes, eliminating contaminants such as pet dander, mold spores and more than 99.99% of volatile organic compounds. No worries about environmental contamination, this purifier emits no harmful ozone while running. Small in size but packs a tremendous punch, able to clean and sanitize the air in any size room. Three settings include an automatic mode that drops the speed and volume when it detects that a room has been darkened to aid sleep. With minimalistic design that blends with home décor. The reaction chamber lasts up to one year. Plugs into AC and uses as little power as a 60-watt light bulb. Measures 18-3/4”H x 7”W x 6”D and weights 9bls.
Our Opinion
Our lives have improved significantly by technology that was developed for military or space applications that have been adapted for civilian use. This device is one of those technology developed for space exploration and now adapted into a home filter. While the price tag is pretty hefty, if you are looking for a high quality air purifier that will scrub and sanitize the air in your home to the standard aboard the space station providing you and your family with ultra-pure air to breathe, then the investment is worthwhile.
