Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray Hybrid
The storied Chevrolet Corvette is finally switching from internal combustion to electricity. Well, not quite entirely electric, but close. After its 1953 debut, the company’s first hybrid corvette made its eagerly awaited debut. The hybrid E-Ray model combines the familiar V8 engine seen in Corvette models with an electric powertrain. The E-Ray is now the fastest-producing Vette in history thanks to the combo. It has an astounding 0-60 mph speed of 2.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 10.5 seconds.
