Many who admire Lamborghinis masterful performance have little clue that Ferruccio Lamborghini never intended to sell road vehicles but instead wanted to compete with Ferrari by producing top of the line racing cars. The Lamborghini LMDH prototype race car is a car built to honor Ferruccio Lamborghini goal of creating purely race cars. The LMDH will participate in the IMSA Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2024. With a twin-turbo V8 and 681 horses under the hood, the LMDH will make a statement that demonstrates Lamborghini’s commitment to performance and a return to it’s founder’s original ideals.
